We offer two retail consumer products through our website —ID Watchdog Select and Premium. Select the Compare Products page to review the plans and features for each plan.  You have the option to select “Individual” or “Family” with a billing option of “Monthly” or “Annually.” When you have selected your plan, you will be directed to a new page to enter your personal information and a credit card for payment. Once you have completed enrollment and verified your identity, you can access your plan features through our online portal.  Contact ID Watchdog Customer Care at 800-970-5182, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year if you have any questions.

To set up your account, check your email for a welcome email or monthly summary from ID Watchdog.  Your welcome email contains a unique activation link you can use to set up your account, or click the button to Get Started in your monthly summary email.  If you received a welcome letter,  visit https://portal.idwatchdog.com and enter your unique access code. You will then need to complete the identity verification process to activate your account.

We periodically update or change the retail products available on our website with pricing for individual consumers. Through employee benefits, we offer different plans and pricing. Please check your company’s benefits information for plan details.

We are pleased to offer you the option to continue your identity theft service at the same employee rates offered through your benefits program. Just call 800-970-5182 to speak with a customer service representative, add a credit card or debit card to your account’s billing information, and authorize ID Watchdog to withdraw the monthly service fee from the card provided.

If you are an ID Watchdog customer, you will want to immediately call Customer Care at 800-970-5182, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Your identity theft case will be assigned to one of our highly trained and certified resolution specialists. We go beyond resolution assistance—your case is personally managed until it is resolved. With a Limited Power of Attorney, your assigned specialist will place phone calls, obtain detailed information, and submit requests on your behalf. Plus, through your ID Watchdog dashboard, you can view the status of your open identity theft case at any time.

The ID Watchdog mobile app is available from the App Store and Google Play.

With our dark web monitoring feature, we alert you if our AI-powered scans detect that your identity or credentials are exposed through a data breach or found on the dark web.  Add email addresses, credit cards, bank accounts, insurance IDs, gamertags, and other credentials to broaden our dark web scans. There is no guarantee that ID Watchdog is able to locate and scan all deep and dark websites where consumers' personal information is at risk of being traded.

Go to “Account Login”, select “Consumer Login” and click on the “Forgot your username?” or “Forgot your password?” link. Enter the email address associated with your ID Watchdog account, first name, and last name, and then click on the “Resend login” or “Reset password” button. An email will be sent to you with username or password reset instructions.

If you signed up for a retail consumer product, you may cancel your ID Watchdog product at any time through your online account or by calling ID Watchdog Customer Care at 800-970-5182, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Your cancellation will be effective immediately, and we do not issue partial month refunds.   

If you enrolled through your employer or one of our reseller partners,  you should contact them to ask about their cancellation policy.

Log into your online account and click on “Account Settings” under your name.  You can enter your current password and select a new one.
